China studies at Hjørring Gymnasium
Promoting Chinese language learning
From January 24 to 26, 2025, Hjørring Gymnasium (STX) hosted its annual event, gathering 120 students from 56 high schools. Representing the China Studies Program, Aarhus University, teacher Lene Sønderby Bech and two 3rd-year students, Ida Valsøe and Laura Pinderup Dideriksen introduced the program and led interactive workshops to spark interest in Chinese language learning.
This initiative aimed to inspire more students to pursue Chinese studies at the university level, encouraging more high school students to engage in Chinese language learning.
